Ingredients

250 grams of Codfish

3 Eggs

3 Chopped garlic cloves

200 grams of Flour

1 Baking powder sachet

1 Tigre soda

Chopped fresh parsley

1 pinch of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : In a pot, place a little water and bring to a boil to use in the batter.

Step 2 : In another container with water, add the fish and boil for about 3 minutes.

Step 3 : Remove from heat and let it cool before cutting into pieces.

Step 4 : Strain the water used to cook the fish, reserve half a cup, and discard the rest.

Step 5 : Finely chop the garlic and parsley.

Step 6 : In a bowl, beat the eggs with salt, add the chopped garlic and parsley, mix, then add the fish cooking water, soda, and sifted flour with baking powder.

Step 7 : Mix everything well and incorporate the chopped fish.

Step 8 : In a large skillet or pan, heat sunflower oil.

Step 9 : When hot, add small portions of batter with a tablespoon.

Step 10 : Fry the fritters on all sides until golden, then remove and place on paper towels to absorb excess oil.

Step 11 : Finally, arrange on a serving dish.
