Ingredients

1 Medium white cabbage

1 ½ cup of Ground meat

1 cup of Cooked rice

3 Diced peeled and seedless tomatoes

1 ½ teaspoon of Salt

1 pinch of Pepper

4 Clove of garlic

1 tablespoon of Lemon juice

1 cup of Tomato juice

1 tablespoon of Chopped spearmint

1 teaspoon of Ground cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1 : Separate the cabbage leaves and cook them in boiling salted water until tender, about 5 minutes.

Step 2 : In a bowl, mix the meat, rice, one diced tomato, 1 teaspoon of salt, pepper, chopped spearmint, and ground cinnamon.

Step 3 : Mix well.

Step 4 : Cut the blanched cabbage leaves into triangles and place a tablespoon of filling in the center of each.

Step 5 : Fold the edges of the leaves and shape them into rolls.

Step 6 : At the bottom of a pot, add the remaining tomatoes and two minced garlic cloves.

Step 7 : Arrange the rolls on top of them.

Step 8 : Add lemon juice and a quarter teaspoon of salt.

Step 9 : Finally, pour in the tomato juice and enough water to cover the rolls.

Step 10 : Bring to a boil over low heat, cover, and cook for 20 minutes.

Step 11 : Uncover and cook for another 15 minutes.

Step 12 : Finally, serve with its sauce.
