1 tablespoon of Achiote oil

¼ cup of Fresh milk

1 pinch of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : The preparation begins by peeling the kasha and removing its center, then cooking it in salted water for 10-15 minutes. Drain and mash the kasha before setting aside.

Step 2 : For the corned beef, heat olive oil in a skillet and sauté the sauté mixture, onion, and peppers for 2-3 minutes.

Step 3 : Then, add the corned beef, tomato sauce, and cilantro, cooking it for another 2-3 minutes.

Step 4 : Remove the mixture and let it cool.

Step 5 : In a separate bowl, mix the egg, wheat flour, achiote oil, milk, and salt to taste to form a batter.

Step 6 : Divide the mashed kasha into 10-12 portions and form a ball with each portion using your palms.

Step 7 : Flatten each ball and place a tablespoon of filling in the center, then close it to form a ball that completely covers the filling.

Step 9 : Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C).

Step 10 : Roll each pastry in wheat flour and then dip in the batter before frying until golden.

Step 11 : Place on paper towels to drain and serve immediately, accompanied by your favorite sauce.
