In a large skillet, heat the oil.
The slices of green plantain are fried until soft.
Remove from the oil, drain, and flatten before returning to the skillet to fry until crispy.
Finally, season with garlic powder and salt.

Ingredients
¼ cup of Vegetable oil
3 Green plantains
1 pinch of Garlic powder
1 pinch of Salt
Preparation
Step 1 : In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat.
Step 2 : Then, add the slices of green plantain and fry until soft, which may take 5 to 10 minutes.
Step 3 : Afterward, remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.
Step 4 : Use a tostonera or a similar tool to gently flatten each plantain slice, reducing its thickness by half.
Step 5 : Flatten all the slices before moving to the next step.
Step 6 : Then, return the slices to the hot oil and fry until golden and crispy, approximately 3 minutes per side.
Step 7 : Drain on paper towels and season with garlic powder and salt before serving.
