Taro Fritter
Ingredients
2 cups of Ground taro
1 tablespoon of Adobo
1 tablespoon of Complete seasoning
5 tablespoons of Annatto (Achiote)
Wax paper
Oil for frying
Preparation
Step 1 : In a bowl, pour in the ground taro and drain any liquids.
Step 2 : Then add the adobo, complete seasoning, and annatto, and mix everything well until forming a uniform dough.
Step 3 : Next, using a spoon, scoop the taro mixture onto wax paper and spread it out with circular motions.
Step 4 : Place the meat in the center of the dough and then close the fritter, sealing the edges with the paper.
Step 5 : Once sealed, place the fritters in the freezer until completely frozen.
Step 6 : After this step, remove the paper and heat oil in a skillet.
Step 7 : Fry the fritters at high temperature, ensuring they are golden on both sides.
