The flavorful and smoky marinated chicken skewers with Adobo and oregano are a Puerto Rican classic for the grill. Grilled until tender and juicy, finished with an irresistible sticky BBQ sauce. A delight to share on any occasion.
In a large bowl, mix the chicken with the Adobo seasoning and oregano, allowing it to marinate for 30 minutes before threading onto skewers.
Meanwhile, oil the grill and preheat to medium-high heat.
Place the chicken skewers on the grill and close the lid.
After 4 minutes, turn them over and repeat this process every 4 minutes until the juices run clear and the chicken reaches 165°C.
Once cooked, brush the chicken with BBQ sauce and cook for a few more minutes until the BBQ sauce is sticky.
