Rice Mamposteao with Bacon

Afterward, add the cooked rice and mix until all ingredients are well combined, approximately four minutes.

To finish, sprinkle fresh cilantro on top.

2 tablespoons of Corn oil

2 cans of Chopped bacon

1 Green bell pepper

½ Chopped onion

1 tablespoon of Chopped garlic

1 cup of Cooked beans

4 tablespoons of Tomato sauce

2 ½ cups of Medium-grain cooked rice

½ cup of Chopped fresh cilantro

½ cup of Chopped ripe plantains

Preparation

Step 1 : In a large skillet, heat the corn oil over moderate heat.

Step 2 : Add the bacon and sauté until crispy.

Step 3 : Next, add the bell pepper, onion, and garlic, stirring as it cooks for three minutes.

Step 4 : Then, incorporate the beans and tomato sauce, cooking for two minutes.

Step 5 : Afterward, add the cooked rice and mix until all ingredients are well combined, approximately four minutes.

Step 6 : To finish, sprinkle fresh cilantro on top.

Step 7 : To give the rice a sweet touch, you can add half a cup of chopped cooked ripe plantains when adding the rice.

Step 8 : You can also serve the dish with slices of fresh avocado.
