Trifongo with Fried Meat
Ingredients

2 Fried meat portions
1 Green plantain
1 Ripe plantain
4 ounces of Yucca
2 tablespoons of Butter
2 Garlic cloves
2 tablespoons of Chopped onion
2 Sweet chili peppers
1 tablespoon of Cilantro
½ teaspoon of Salt
1 pinch of Pepper
Preparation
Step 1 : Peel and slice the green and ripe plantains, and cut the yucca into cubes.
Step 2 : Fry the tubers in plenty of vegetable oil until golden and cooked inside.
Step 3 : Mash the tubers in a bowl, adding butter, crushed garlic, salt, and pepper, mixing well.
Step 4 : Incorporate pieces of chicharrón or bacon into the mash for a special flavor.
Step 5 : Fry the fried meat and set aside.
Step 6 : Prepare the sauce by processing in a bowl the onion, sweet chili peppers, cilantro, garlic, vinegar, lemon, and olive oil.
Step 7 : Pour the sauce over the fried meat and cook for a few more minutes.
Step 8 : Serve the trifongo accompanied by the fried meat and the garlic and cilantro sauce.
