The Coconut and Cane Marrallo is a traditional Latin American sweet with simple preparation. By mixing coconut and molasses over medium heat, you obtain a dough that, once cooled, turns into delicious bars or cubes, perfect for enjoying slowly.
In a pot over medium heat, add the coconut and molasses.
Keep stirring constantly with a wooden spoon until the mixture begins to solidify and forms a firm but still manageable dough.
Then, remove from heat and pour onto a tray lined with parchment paper for baking cookies.
