Pumpkin and Apple Pie

Ingredients

4 cups of Peeled and chopped apples

2 cups of Sugar

¾ cup of Canned pumpkin purée

½ cup of Softened butter

1 tablespoon of Vanilla extract

2 Large eggs

1 ½ cup of Flour

1 ½ teaspoon of Baking powder

¼ teaspoon of Salt

3 teaspoons of Cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this recipe, start by preheating the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Step 2 : In a mixer, beat 1 3/4 cups of sugar, butter, and vanilla at medium speed until creamy, about 4 minutes.

Step 3 : Add the pumpkin purée and eggs one at a time, beating until well combined.

Step 4 : In a small bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, one teaspoon of cinnamon, and salt.

Step 5 : Add this flour mixture to the sugar mixture at low speed until well incorporated.

Step 6 : In another small bowl, combine the 1/4 cup of sugar with the remaining cinnamon.

Step 7 : The chopped and peeled apples are mixed with 2 tablespoons of the cinnamon sugar mixture.

Step 8 : Gently fold the apples into the cake batter.

Step 9 : Pour the batter into an 8-inch springform pan, previously greased with cooking spray or butter, and sprinkle with the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture.

Step 10 : Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 55-65 minutes, or until the top is lightly golden.

Step 11 : After baking, let it cool on a wire rack, carefully remove the springform, and it's ready to serve.
